Finally, real places to retrieve useful classroom material. I'll definitely be on those websites. The samples of created material in the book are great, too. Defining the difference between created and authentic materials made me hope to use more of the authentic materials with the adults I hope to work with. This unit addressed the notions of authentic and teacher created material. It is clear that both have advantages, and a good class will have a mix of both; however, it was also clear that authentic materials are a bad idea for beginners, as the language use will almost certainly be above their level. There a Plenty of different course books, and this unit was kind of handle of their usage. Now I know criterias of choosing books, pros and cons of their implement in the class. It is a huge responsibility to choose a course book, especially in our days when printed materials are rather expensive.
