I personally believe planning is fundamental to each class, even if the teacher is experienced. Lesson planning keeps the class organized and it serves as an important record for the teacher to use in future classes. Keeping it all registered helps the teacher to understand better the students vulnerabilities and improve his/her classes in the future. As a teacher, I always have everything planned and leave some minutes for flexibility. It is also very important to know your classroom and students so planning becomes easier.The past perfect continuous form is a bit complicated, this unit helped to break down how it is used. As it is rather uncommon, this practice was useful. The more common usage of the past tense that I think may be difficult is the past perfect. Explaining the idea of past actions that were completed before other past actions may be hard depending on student proficiency, but the information in this unit will be useful. I particularly like the idea of giving a final situation and having students work backwards to tell a story.
