I will be a new teacher with no previous experience, so the sample lesson plans provided in this unit gave me ideas on ways that would be most suitable for me to lay out a lesson. The unit broke down items that would be most helpful to include in a lesson plan, from objectives that I want for the students to possible problems that I may come across while teaching the lesson. In addition to the sample lesson plans, I also found the examples of worksheets near the end of the unit to be helpful. It reiterated the ESA method for me.This unit re-enforced on what I already know about testing and evaluation. I expected to see more materials in this unit about tips on question creation. I know that questions are depending on the subject matter being covered but more info on this will help. Suggestions on specific topics might be helpful as well when making test questions. I also expected to learn suggestions on grading systems from this unit. Do we just grade our students pass or fail depending on what they learn or retain from group discussions or activities?
