This was a very big unit with a lot of information. It covered phonetic sounds and explained how most teachers don't try to teach their students how to put inflection and intonation into the new words they are learning, but stresses how important it is to do so. It covers the phonetic alphabet in detail, how to articulate words and the different parts of the mouth and throat used to do so; as well as covering how to put intonation and stress on your words. Before reading this unit, I had not realized how important it was to teach that and now I have some ideas for how to do so.
