This unit was probably the hardest so far because teaching phonetics is really hard. I had learned the phonetic alphabet Before but it is still hard to remember. What is even harder is remembering what the different sounds are and where they are made. This was a good refresher course in linguistics and I am starting to remember these things more readily. The chapter also included intonation which is a fun concept but I can tell that it will be hard to teach but it will make a huge difference in the understanding of the students.
