Following the unit on teaching receptive skills unit, the teaching of of productive skills is very complete. It is filled with explanations and examples that will be useful for teachers of the English Language.A lot of teachers put more emphasis on one skill more than the other and tend to ignore that they are both equally necessary. This unit explores a lot of teaching criterion that teachers should use to make their lessons effective and enjoyable.These videos were very helpful and clearly illustrated the negatives and positives of teaching. I the first lesson, the teacher was abrupt, unfriendly, made the students feel unintelligent, didn't take time to explain things well. However, in the second lesson, he smiled, was upbeat, went out how his way to learn their names and use them, put them at ease and drew the best out of them. When they were incorrect, he corrected them in a positive way.
