I learned that they are more future tenses in the English language than I thought. I don't remember there being so many different teneses to refer to actions being completed or continuing in the future, whether that be the near future or distant future. As with the other units that focused on tense, the example teaching ideas for the activate stage and typical student mistakes were very helpful for me. The corresponding video for this unit was very helpful as well. I know I will refer back to the iinformation in this unit for my own knowledge.This unit was useful to see what kind of course material you can use, in order to teach your students in the most effective way. Furthermore, it provides great insight of the advantages and disadvantages of using different course materials. For example, the differences between authentic and created materials. Another great thing about this unit is that it provides more insight in how to use a course book effectively. For example, you can omit, adapt, supplement or replace certain things of a course book, in order to make your class more effective.
