As regards to this unit, a comparison is made between authentic materials which tend to seek more interest as they adapt to real life situations and created materials such as crosswords and puzzles which are graded to the level of the students. First lessons are always important as they mark the start of the teacher-students relationship. Leaving a good first impression helps the teacher establish good rapport with their student and define the class dynamic in a positive way. Teachers should always try to capture their students' attention.
