This unit was about teaching a new language. It talked about grammar, vocabulary and functions of the language. It also gave several examples on how to use the ESA method to teach different subjects at different levels. How to select the vocabulary that you are planning to use for your class, and what to include in the Study part so the students can lear the correct use of grammar structure. Also introduce new words in the Engage phase, and finish the assignment or the class in the Activate stage, so the students can put into practice what they have learned.This unit covered modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice, all of which are important sections of English grammar. The unit elaborated on each form with informative charts and diagrams of formulas as to when to use each. This unit felt very rich in information and at times confusing because of all the different forms and contexts on when to use them. The most confusing to me was the three types of phrasal verbs and figuring out how to distinguish them. With more practice and memorization, I feel as though the amount of information will come more naturally.
