In this chapter we learn how to teach a new language . Using an ESA method any language can be taught using the most appropriate patterns such as , Straight Arrow ESA structure, Boomerang ESA structure and Patchwork ESA structure depending on the English level of the students and the task.

to teach different types of language functions using ESA is discussed.This unit is all about how to set up you class (arrange) and how to deal with the students and discipline problems. I however have found that knowing the names of students is important and I think I did lack in that area before while teaching kindergarten cause I was a float around teacher and couldn't remember 350 students Chinese names so I would start by calling the English names then use other methods to call the other student like pass the ball etc. I think this unit has shown me the importance of students names as well as how to deal with discipline better.
