This chapter provided an overview of the type of situations we- as teachers may face in the classroom. It provides them tips such as being aware of students' needs, having clear terms and being adaptable in the classroom. It also went through the differences of New and False beginners and that they essentially have the same needs. It also advised what teachers should do in the event of a discipline problem. This chapter states that boredom is the fault of the teacher and the only problem beyond the teacher's control is an external one like family life or depression.Unit 9 covered various aspects of lesson planning, including how to plan a lesson, what should be included in a lesson, the importance of being organized, anticipating for both student and teacher problems and having solutions available, etc. The main thing that I learned from this unit is to allow for flexibility when arranging a lesson plan and anticipate possible problems in relation to both students and teacher. In addition, always keep clear records not only for yourself, but also in case you won't be able to make it to class and another teacher has to cover.
