Learning more about productive skills and how to teach accuracy and fluency through a multitude of games and interactions is exciting. Communication with one another allows the students' to meet and bond with their classmates and help with their future endeavors. With every activity we are teaching productive skills through each lesson which may make some students feel uncomfortable with peer intimidation, fear of making of mistakes, but with encouraging student interaction with guidance from the teacher, I feel that it leaves a less stressful environment in learning English.This unit was on teaching receptive skills: reading and listening. There are different purposes for reading (and listening) and this means that there can be different approaches to the task at hand (such as skimming, scanning, a detailed read/listen, etc). When a teacher is preparing a lesson, (s)he needs to be aware of the level and interests of the student. This will help the students stay interested. Really hard vocabulary should be pre-taught, but students also need exposure to unknown vocabulary. It's good for them to have a chance to figure some of it out on their own.
