This unit attempted to cover more aspects of grammar. Specifically, the unit dealt with modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. Modals include: ought to, needn't, need to, have got to, have to, must, would, will, should, shall, might, may, could, and can. The passive voice is one of the two voices in the English language, along with the active voice. The unit attempted to explain phrasal verbs, but essentially only taught that there are three types.This unit covered modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. I thought the passive voice section was incredibly helpful as it can be challenging to explain this concept to students who are not familiar with English. Also, the different types of phrasal verbs and their appropriate areas of use were identified. This section was very well organized, and I made a few charts similar to the ones given in the lesson to keep as reference points for the future.
