This unit focuses on the different ways to evaluate a student. It is common to evaluate a student before the course with either a diagnostic test or a placement test. Progress tests are used throughout the course to make sure the student is understanding material. Practice tests are used to give students an idea about the format of exams and to see what they need to still study. Finally, general external examinations are used to determine students grades.the best way to ensure the undestanding of a language is to take into consideration several factors that will be usefull in the future, is could be the level of the students and the silabus that you are ask to teach. The students need to know that is meaning is of the worw, how it modifies other word in a sentece(the way it interacs) the spealing and pronunciation, if this is not covere the student will have probles to undestand whit are we teaching this.
