Unit 1 taught me about the different roles a teacher can play. It also taught me about asian and Latin american students. Asian students may be shy and lack creativity because they think the teachers are supposed to do all the talking in class. On the other hand, Latin American students are more energetic and talkative. I currently teach English students at my University, and this holds true. I have to call upon the Asian students for them to speak in class, while the Hispanic students are more receptive. I like how this Unit compared older and younger learners, and introduced the A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 categories.
