I found this lesson to be insightful to help be brush up on the present tense and learn about all of the different uses for each of the different present tense forms. As a native English speaker, I tend to take this information for granted because I grew up in an English-speaking household and country and tended to not pay attention to this information. As a future English teacher abroad, I need to know when it is appropriate to use the present simple tense, like when describing a habit, or when to use the present perfect tense, such as when talking about finished actions that occurred at an indefinite time. I also liked learning about different ways to teach these tenses using different strategies and lessons and hope to use this information and resources as a future English teacher abroad.
