I found this unit helpful as I have gained a basic knowledge of the classroom involving teacher interaction, the types of students, and student motivation. I found the section on the level of English proficiency of students especially helpful as the program I am applying to has a wide range of education levels I may be teaching. I will need to know what level my classes are at in order to determine what material is to basic or to advanced for the class.
