This video lesson was a great way to showcase the differences a teacher's attitude can have on a given lesson. In the first lesson the teacher does not smile, talks too quickly, and intimidates the students by insinuating that the lesson should be easy for them. In the second lesson the teacher is friendly and smiling; he first introduces himself and takes the time to ask the students names. He engages the students with a \"game\" first rather than a dull explanation of grammar terms. The teacher also displays more effective teaching methods in the second lesson by doing a better job of explaining each step of the lesson rather than simply repeating the same phrases over and over again.
