This unit covered the four aspects of present tense rules and uses in English, based on my own struggles, I believe present tense will undoubtedly be very difficult to teach as a foreign language. Through studying this unit, I identified a number of problem areas. I do not necessarily agree with some of the rules surrounding non-action verbs in the present continuous tense. I feel that the way language is progressing and developing, present continuous tense is being used more commonly, especially regarding emotions and feelings. I also found the practice questions at the end of the unit quite challenging but very useful for identifying the correct present tense.
