As an introduction to grammar, this unit covered parts of speech. Nouns were identified as countable and uncountable nouns and how this effect other parts of the sentence. In using adjectives, the unit discusses importance of order as well as comparative and superlative comparisons. The use of definitive and indefinite articles depending in general or specific nouns was also a point of focus. Verbs and verbs forms seem to be an area that may give students difficulty as many forms may just simply have to memorized. Similar to adjectives, certain types of adverbs that help with place, time, degree, and frequency also have an order and position to be mindful of. Although pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions were rather familiar to me, gerunds I completely took for granted. Nice to know these verbs have a proper Name.
