A good teacher needs to view the needs of the students. They should not be in it for personal accolades as it is about helping students learn the language. Teachers need to be flexible and fill many roles while trying not to be to critical of mistakes and nurturing a student's learning. Good learners are motivated and willing to ask questions. The age of the learner can change the learning and teaching experience as older learners have more fixed views on how lessons should be carried out. Learners come in a variety of language levels, bringing with them different approaches to teaching. Above all teaching and learning should be fun.
