This unit was about different types of methods,techniques and theories that can be used in a esl class. It talks a great deal on how to keep students engaged in learning of a new language. I feel that I've learned alot in this unit. One of the things in the chapter that was eye opening to me was the appropriate correction time. How,when, and not to correct. It made more sense to me,having taught esl in the past. I have discouraged some students by correcting too much at every little mistake they made. At the time , I thought it was the only way. Now I know I that I was wrong.
