This unit discussed different teaching methodologies/theories as well as possible structures for lessons and example activities for class. One of the lessons that I took away from this unit was that teacher involvement can act as a form of interference for students' learning if corrections or monitoring are done at all stages or without the proper counterbalance of praise. The idea of coding student papers instead of just giving corrections also resounded with me as a way of having less interference/direct criticism while still offering support.
