This unit presented an overview of the parts of speech pertaining to the English language. The unit starts with examples of diagnosing an entire sentence by it's parts of speech. Then, all parts of speech are defined with practical examples as well as tables to support each explanation. There were subsections to each of the parts of speech, which were explained in similar fashion. This unit is important because it is the foundation of the English language and helps to dissect parts of a full sentence.
