This unit reviewed parts of speech such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs in English. It also distinguished different subcategories within each part of speech. For example, there are adverbs of frequency, manner, place, time, and degree, among others. Finally, it identified some rules for using each part of speech, such as where to place adverbs, when to use the infinitive form of verbs, and so on. I thus learned the various parts of speech that exist in English, as well as some rules for their usage.
