I found this section to be very challenging and illuminating. There appears to be about 20 or so different grammar rules that I must master, and after so doing, will be able to better navigate the English language. Gerund was something that I had no exposure to. I didn't know that there was a rule verb's becoming alive or actionable. If I understand correctly, as when an "ing"" is added to a verb it becomes a gerund."
