This unit familiarized me with the ESA structure and informed me regarding lesson plan methodologies. It was also advantageous to learn the variety of activities that can be done in each learning stage that can invigorate the learning process for students and teachers alike. It is also important to recognize when students can be corrected or when it is appropriate to do so within a lesson. I also learned that student mistakes can be productive and an example to be used in the learning process. There is not one teaching method that is right, you just have to know your audience and make sure that you aren't giving an activity or using an approach that is bellow or above the level of the students. Sometimes the way to find this out is simply by trying!
