In general, I learned that when structuring a lesson you want to start off with activities that illicit speaking as a way to determine what your students may already know. This would be the engage stage. From there, you can move to the study stage, where you might go a little deeper into the idea that will be practiced. Later, you can move to the activate stage where the students will work on what you have shared with them. Of course, you can mix up the order so as the students can get more practice. Additionally, included in this unit were ideas for how to amplify each section. Too, it looked at making corrections and some of the way it might be done well.
