Being a native English speaker I use most if not all of the different forms explained in the lesson in my everyday speech. However, I do not think about it because I have learned and applied it my whole life grammar becomes second nature to me. However, after reviewing and going over the lesson I realized I myself could not even explain almost half of the terms in my own words. It was a great way to refresh myself on my knowledge of grammar because just knowing and using it is a whole different story than actually explaining the concepts and the application. Especially when teaching to someone who has never had exposure. This was a good lesson for me to concentrate on one of my weaknesses in terms of teaching the language rather than just knowing it.
