The unit was about the parts of speech. It focused on the basics of the grammar principles that any teacher will teach at some point in his/career career. What I liked the most about the unit is the points that dealt with the order people use when they use adjectives and adverbs. I got a great refresher on various rules and concepts in English grammar. I am thankful for the sharpening of the saw. I learned what to call "a"" or ""an"" opposed to ""the"". I learned about transitive and intransitive verbs. This unit has only strengthened my background in English. Yay!" This unit was about the parts of speech in the English language, such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. I learned a lot from this unit because I never realized how many different parts of speech were involved in our everyday conversations.
