This unit described the qualities of a good teacher and a good student. It went on to explaining some of the differences between adult students and young learners, their strengths and weaknesses and how to approach them. Then there was an overview of English proficiency levels and a their basic description. The unit was ended with some examples of what motivates students to learn English and the importance of making lessons enjoyable and varied to keep students motivated. I appreciated how the differences between young and adult learners were explained and the ups and downs of teaching different proficiency levels and how to deal with them.
