I had never heard of the ESA method, but I think it?s fantastic. As a creative individual, I see this as a method not only allowing creativity for the teacher, but also for the students. I see creativity and learning integrally linked. This unit provided me with a number of ideas for lesson plans directed toward students at several different learning stages. I also liked learning about the different styles of ESL teaching methods. As a world traveler, I was able to identify the method I personally have used in those travels (Grammar-Translation) and I can see the cons and pros of it in my own experiences. I would like to try out several of these methods in my own foreign language studies.
