This unit was about the importance of teaching students correct pronunciation. I was able to learn a lot about phonology. I learned about the three different patterns of intonation and about different techniques I can use in teaching it. Learning about when to use stress in a syllable was something new to me, but overall, the phonemic alphabet was something new and exciting to learn about, as I don't recall being taught about it when I was younger. It was definitely an interesting unit.
