This lesson talked about the structure of lessons and different lesson types. I already kind of had an idea about how to structure a lesson because in my current job we're essentially thrown in the deep end and we learn how to structure lessons by ourselves. I was pleased to see that what I've been trying to do in my lessons is the standard 'Straight Arrow' ESA lesson. It was also interesting to learn about the different methods of teaching ESL, and to put a Name to some of the methods I've seen in the japanese classroom.
