Unit 1 gives me a clear idea of what is the qualities, roles and responsibilities for both teacher and learner to be able to form an effective classroom environment for the students to get maximum value from the teaching time. The teacher must be able to evaluate the learners in order to see what level they are. It tells me how the teacher should take on different roles in the classroom to keep the learners motivated and interested.
