This unit introduced the concept of basic sentence structure. While I have an excellent understanding of English sentences and grammar, I don't know many of the correct names of the parts of a sentence. Words such as gerund were brand new to me and will allow me to describe the English language in greater detail to my students. Furthermore, the table of verb forms is something I will be printing and taking with me to my first teaching assignment.
