In this past tense unit I liked it how it covered the bases of what a present perfect verb and what a past perfect verb is. What I got out of the first page was paragraph 3. The verb to have in present tense equals the idea of a present continuous. same thing with the past, if the verb is in the past. I was particularly interested that with a past action to be told you have to give a time in which that event happened. The past continuous has 3 different kinds of form. It has the affirmative, the negative and the question stage as many other things we have studied in this course uses.
