Unit 2 discussed the parts of speech - nouns, verbs, infinitive verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, gerunds, articles, prepositions, and conjunctions. I have learnt how to properly identify these different parts in a sentence. I have also learnt the different types and forms of each and made aware of the irregular ones. It is very important to have a good understanding of these basic concepts because I believe that they are essential in forming correct English grammar.
