Unit 10 was about two video lessons. The first video showed the teacher not having a good attitude through out the lesson and this caused the students to feel uncomfortable a and intimidated. The lesson was about auxiliary verbs. Through out the lesson the teacher kept repeating that the lesson is very easy. The students didn't look interested either because the teacher didn't try get their attention at the start of the lesson. Overall the lesson was not good. For the second video the lesson went very well. At the start of the lesson the teacher introduced himself by giving his Name and was very pleasant. Then he asked the students their names. This helped the students to feel more comfortable in the class. The teacher also used the three phases, Engage, Study and Activate in this lesson. After watching both videos I was able to get a visual concept of what a bad and good lesson looks like. I was also able to identify some of things I have learnt in the previous units. For example when writing on the board always glance back at the students now and then and learning the students names and getting everyone involved in the lesson.
