8 parts of speech are very helpful to compose a sentence. This was a very good review of my public school grammar classes. Transitive verbs are sometimes confusing - they require an object and don't stand alone.
I know from teaching how important a sound understanding of grammar is as many times a point will come up in class. Attempting this test for the first time has caused me to feel challenged in areas thought to be known. Realizing I am refreshing my memory as well as learning new skills. sharpening up my verb knowledge so far. thanks
