This unit covers characteristics of good teachers and learners, roles teachers fill, motivations for learners, and types of learners by ages and ability levels. I learned that classifications for ability levels can vary depending on the location. I particularly enjoyed reading about characteristics for both the teachers and the students. The characteristics of a good teacher are what I need to work on and improve, and the characteristics of the good students are what I should encourage and Foster in my students.
