This unit reviewed different foreign language teaching methodologies. It presented several different methodologies and very briefly discussed their strengths and weaknesses. It then went on to argue for the benefits of the engagement, study, activate method. I found the unit helpful, but think it would have been useful to cover some linguistic theory on language acquisition. I think it would have provided a useful context to understand how these different methods relate to language acquisition overall.
