This unit was very helpful. I learned about the ESA methodology and that it is the most effective methodology. It is important to Engage the students at the beginning of the lesson to ensure they have a desire to learn. It is also important for the students to Study and learn more about grammar and structure of the language. Lastly, it is important for the students to Activate. In this stage the students can focus on being fluent and using the language in conversation Type settings. These three stages can be used in many different ways. ESA, EASA... etc, but it is important to end a lesson with Activate.
