A short lesson. This unit goes over the types of tests that are used by students and teachers. Tests can and should be used for various things in the classroom. This unit also gave examples of specific tests, including those by external bodies and what each is good for. Bear in mind my own experience and content of this unit: course books are very emotive issue not only for me. As for me I am preferred use both kinds of materials. I think that you should give more examples and describe all handouts of this unit. More examples is the best way to get it. This unit serves as a good basic reminder of the varied types of resources that can potentially implemented into an ESL classroom or curriculum. Also, the list of texts and websites is a very helpful and handy resource that I'll be sure to draw from and take advantage of within the context of my own ESL courses.
