In Unit 2 I have learned about parts of speech, which are the different words in each sentence according to its meaning or purpose. In this Unit I have reviewed some of the basic grammar of English, such as nouns, verbs transitive intransitive, gerunds, prepositions and etc. A quality of a good teacher, which I have learned in unit 1, is to have good subject knowledge. I have learned that knowing the parts of speech and understanding technically how to use the grammar and from an academic standpoint, rather than a native speaker standpoint will enable me to better explain to my students.
