This was a very useful unit that will be referred to often. I will print the pronunciation sections and start paying closer attention to stress, intonation, and articulation. Most of this is just taken for granted as Native English speakers. Since I have been taking spanish, I can see the value in specific instruction on pronunciation and phonology. It is so important to feel confident in speaking that you are stressing the right parts of a word or sentence, that you are pronouncing words correctly, and that you are taking into consideration how the native speakers actually speak.
