In this unit I have learned that on the first lesson, a teacher must establish rapport, find out information from students, their plans, needs and expectation as well as their individual level as these information will greatly help the teacher in planning and formulating future lessons to meet the needs and interests of the students. A fun and an effective teacher must be able to use warmers and must be able to deal with different levels, large classes, reluctant students, students' use of their native language and difficulties with listening texts and must find various ways to address possible problems that may arise because of these.
