Perhaps the most confusing part of tenses in the English language is that the future tenses can include a couple of present tenses. Specifically, the Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses can be applied to the future despite not being actual future tenses. However, beyond this fact, the future tenses are a fair bit simpler than past and present. Future perfect and future perfect continuous each are fairly simple to recognize, though teachers need to take care to make sure students understand that future perfect is for completed events by a future time and that future perfect continuous is to talk about how Long an event will have been occurring by a time in the future. Future simple and future continuous are more encompassing by comparison, but they are also much easier to tell apart from each other and from the other tenses.
