The first unit introduces how is the ideal teacher and the ideal learner. It contains all the details that we have to know about how to become a good teacher, using and choosing the appropiate teaching roles. It focuses on the complexity of the relationship between the teachers and the learners. After I finished my work on this unit I realised how important is to know our students (age, learning experience, motivation, etc.) After knowing your student's past and experiences you are able to decide how is her/his real English level. After I have studied this unit, for me the most important thing is to make the difference between situations (like in which case which role is the adequate one...) and knowing that caring about my teaching is important, but the most important is to care more about the learning of the students. I've really enjoyed this unit!
