This unit has been pivotal in highlighting the factors to consider when deciding which vocabulary items to teach to the students. It further highlights the concept that the teacher has the mandate to choose how he is going to conduct individual lessons to suit the needs of the class. The suggested methods like ESA are only there to provide a guideline.This was a very long unit and so much was covered. There is so much information to pass onto students. The ESA framework seems to be very good as it would engage the students very well. It is also a good method to get all students engaging with eachother. It prevents the teacher taking over lessons and would create a very positive classroom experience.
